ERPNext Experience
Since when have you been implementing ERPNext?
Limendo GmbH was founded in 2018. The company evolved from a one-person shop to an organization with 50+ employees across Bolzano (Italy) and Bangalore (India). Their mERP product is built on an open-source basis using the Frappe/ERPNext framework with a hybrid approach combining open-source and closed-source elements.
Can you share the approximate number of ERPNext implementations you have completed?
mERP references range from startups using basic features, to industry-specific solutions such as in the food industry, topic-specific solutions in areas like time tracking and payroll, through to large projects with comprehensive changes, specialized processes, data integrations, and AI support.
Functional Coverage
Do you cover local regulatory requirements (e.g. tax compliance, e-invoicing, payroll)?
mERP’s Italian accounting module is specifically designed to meet the complex requirements of Italian tax and civil law. It includes not only the legally required books, but also invoicing, payment processing, budgeting, and tools for creating financial reports and analyses. The module ensures all legal requirements are fulfilled while offering automation and integration benefits.
Technical Capabilities
What is your customization philosophy?
Modular, customized solutions tailored to client-specific needs
Which hosting options do you offer or support?
Limendo offers a range of flexible hosting options: shared servers (multiple systems on the same virtual machine), dedicated servers (exclusive virtual machine for individual companies), advanced solutions with multiple virtual machines and synchronized databases enabling dynamic system scalability, and the most comprehensive solutions using Kubernetes technology. mERP is a cloud product with data stored in secure data centers meeting the highest international standards.
Which third-party integrations have you built or successfully deployed?
mERP features an integrated API-Hub with an API-First approach enabling connection of external systems, making mERP a central data hub. The open API architecture enables seamless connection of external software, AI tools, or data science pipelines. For manufacturing environments, open API standards integrate with machine controls and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems). Data exchange supports import/export in Excel and CSV formats. The philosophy is that existing functioning systems do not need to be replaced; mERP helps structure and consolidate them.
Do you develop custom Frappe apps for clients?
Yes, custom software development. When standard modules do not meet specific company needs, Limendo develops custom applications including web applications, desktop applications, and mobile apps.
