ERPNext Experience
Since when have you been implementing ERPNext?
AVANT-ICONIC has worked with ERPNext/Frappe since 2024, combining ERP implementation with custom Frappe and full-stack application development. In early 2024, we started dogfooding ERPNext for our own business.
Do you contribute to ERPNext core or maintain publicly available Frappe apps? If yes, please link them.
Yes. AVANT-ICONIC maintains frappe_field_sales, an experimental open-source Frappe app for field-sales workflows in Frappe CRM and ERPNext.
The app currently includes DocTypes and customizations for sales visits, daily sales summaries, vehicle logs, mutation logs, Lead and Item extensions, company-based access, and a whitelisted API method intended for mobile field-sales use cases. This app reflects our technical and domain focus.
Functional Coverage
Which ERPNext modules do you typically implement?
CRM, Sales, Projects, Tasks, Helpdesk/Support, custom DocTypes, workflow automation, reporting, integrations for real estate and field-sales processes, purchase invoice handling, and basic HR workflows.
Technical Capabilities
Do you develop custom Frappe apps for clients?
Yes. We develop custom Frappe apps, integrations, APIs, microservices, and mobile-oriented workflows where ERPNext standard functionality is not enough.
Project Approach
What does your typical implementation process look like?
Discovery starts with observing real user workflows, especially field and non-desk processes. We then map the process, identify ERPNext standard coverage, define targeted customizations, build iteratively, and validate with users before rollout.
We follow a lean model where design takes place not once, but continuously, and project risk is minimized from start to finish. We release frequently, and with practical and visible enhancements every time.
Your Differentiator
Digitizing workflows is not about converting paper forms into a digital format. Our work starts with observing real workflows: how people sell, coordinate, document, hand over tasks, and make decisions in the field. These observations influence not only forms and dashboards, but also data models, permissions, automation, and custom backend logic.
Our strongest domains are real estate and field sales. Our real estate solutions bring together different stakeholders, such as tradespeople, architects, site managers, custodians, owners and tenants.
In field sales, we focus on closing the gap between CRM requirements and the daily reality of sales representatives: less administrative friction, better customer context, and faster delivery and follow-up.
What makes your approach to ERPNext implementation different from others?
We have extensive full-stack product development experience. ERPNext and Frappe allow us to develop many business applications faster, with more features, and at the same quality standard as fully bespoke apps.
When it makes sense, we extend ERPNext with custom Frappe apps, integrations, microservices, AI-assisted workflows, or mobile interfaces. The goal is not customization for its own sake, but targeted software interventions that improve adoption, data quality, and operational speed.
