Project Approach
What does your typical implementation process look like?
ALYF follows a proven eight-phase methodology, flexibly adapted to each project — whether a complete new implementation, a partial project, or targeted support:
- IT landscape analysis: Assessment of existing systems, interfaces, data flows, and dependencies as the foundation for the implementation
- Requirements analysis: Systematic collection and prioritization of functional and technical requirements
- Cross-departmental workshops: Structured workshops with specialist departments to clarify processes, expectations, and priorities
- Process modeling: Documentation and optimization of business processes as the basis for mapping in ERPNext
- Fit-gap analysis: Comparison of processes against ERPNext standard to clearly identify customization needs
- Data migration: Careful planning and execution of master and transaction data transfer, including mapping rules, test migrations, and validation
- Go-live & hypercare: Accompanied production start with close support and fast response times during the critical first weeks
- Ongoing support & development: Continuous optimization, new employee training, and targeted system evolution — new modules, integrations, or adaptations
Monthly billing with detailed performance tracking. Agile approach—no fixed upfront contracts. Monthly budgets controllable by customer.
How do you handle data migration from legacy systems?
Data migration is planned carefully with defined mapping rules for master and transaction data, test migrations, and result validation before the actual go-live. Supports multi-company data consolidation.
Post-Go-Live Support
Do you offer ongoing support contracts or managed services after go-live?
Yes. Third-Level Support (deep technical analysis and code-level fixes), functional support, and access to Frappe Technologies engineers through the partnership. Continuous planned development for new features.
Which training formats do you offer?
Workshops, on-site and remote training sessions, configuration guidance (from system settings to user permissions), and ongoing customization support.
